Your private tour guide and luxury transportation to outdoor adventure
Enjoy a day out taking in some beautiful historical sites as we go visit the Hatley Castle , now a National Historic site on the grounds of the Royal Roads University.
The Hatley Castle was built in 1908 by James Dunsmuir for his personal resident, later to be sold and used as a Naval officer training establishment in 1940.
After we will go visit Fort Rodd another National Historic site,
Fort Rodd is a 19th century coastal artillery fort, as well as home to the Fisgard Lighthouse, the oldest lighthouse in western Canada, built in 1860.
From there we go have lunch on the water at Canada's oldest brew pub Spinnakers, known for their great beer and home made chocolate. (location may be altered to customers requests).
From there we will go visit CFB Esquimalt, Canada's west coast navy base. We will stop to over look the ships as we make our way to visit the Naval and Military museum.
If time permits we can stop by to hike around Macaulay Point, a historical site for the National defense.
We will start out from downtown and enjoy a scenic drive along the water way to the Hatley Castle, we will spend up to an hour exploring the grounds and visiting the museum inside the castle.
From there we will enjoy a scenic waterfront drive to the Fort Rodd, we can spend up to 2 hours exploring the historical grounds.
After that we will go have lunch at your choice, I do recommend Spinnaker's, Canada's oldest craft brew pub or the mess Hall at the navy base.
From there we will go visit the CFB ESquimalt, (Canada's west coast navy base). At the base we will visit the Naval and Military museums.
If we have time on the way back we can take a quick walk through Macaulay Point, about a 30 min hike around the historical site.

We had a great day with Darwin. He is very professional and an experienced tour guide, but also very personable. We accomplished a lot during our short cruise stop. His suggestion to walk to Hatley Castle was a great one that we would have never been able to come up with on our own. The forts and the military museum were very interesting. And our lunch at the Red Barn Market was perfect for us. Thanks a bunch Darwin. Looking forward to the next tour with you.
