Kyoto West Side Story "Rise and Fall of Samurais"

This is the tour to learn Japanese culture, history, and spiritualism.
You walk the western part of Kyoto.
It is well known that Kyoto was the capital of Japan for 1000 years.
But little is known about Kyoto, which was the birth place of samurai.
Samurai cultures prospered here for 700 years.
In this tour we travel along four historic sites related to samurai.
What did they think, how did they act?
There may be a hint how to live in this stressful society.

First you visit Tenryuji and Bamboo Forest in Arashiyama.
Famous for beautiful scenery and a landscape garden.
Next you go to Ryoanji Temple, a zen temple, well known for a rock garden.
The third place is Golden Pavilion, the symbol of beauty in this city.
Finally you go to Gion.
This is the place where the last samurai spent their days dreaming of a new country.

You can also make customized tours according to your wishes. Please let me know If you wish to visit other destinations.
