In case you want to stay a bit longer, I also offer alternative accommodation in a Tipi or my Cottage if you so wish. My tours cover anything from the world biggest Whisky Trail to beautiful nature, all aspects of the culture, outdoor activities and meeting interesting people from the famous Loch Ness Monster Hunter to the only Hobbit in the Highlands. Any requests, please get in touch and I will do my best to give you the holiday you are looking for.
I'm a very open and honest person and my life has never been boring yet. I grow up behind the iron curtain and even there mad the impossible possible. The Stasi decided in 1985 to finally let me cross the border to West Germany and that has been the only agreement we ever had (((-:
From that moment I travelled as much of the planet as I possibly could, mainly hitch hiked and met the most fantastic people, got invited to places I would have otherwise never seen and also opened my place to anybody exploring this beautiful planet and only because of it, the world became my oyster. When my son was born in 1989 we moved to Scotland into the Findhorn Foundation and it was here where I got bombarded with spirituality. This time the wall was invisible, but my senses had been sharpened long before. My daughter follow exactly two years later and we travelled this beautiful country since. From a very young age I was able to teach my children many outdoor activities, mastered the highest peak, met incredible people and both of them became Black Belts with the age of 11.
I'm looking for a positive, happy life to share with others and have an active part in making this planet a more peaceful place.
I love travelling, meeting interesting people, parties, many outdoor activities, martial arts and creating beautiful places. The best things I have done is to bring up my children, travelled many countries, spend time and traditional ceremonies with the native Americans and hope to travel even more.
I live in Moray, which has the best weather in Scotland and also the biggest Malt Whisky trail in the world, beautiful nature, plenty of wildlife including the Dolphins, many outdoor activities, Pictish culture and much more.
My trade is a pipe fitter, welder and truck driver, but in Scotland I have worked as a Life Guard, Swimming Teacher, Kayaking Instructor, Mountain Bike Leader and have assisted in other outdoor activities with Outfit Moray. Later I qualified as a support worker in Social Work and looked after young people with challenging behaviour.
After the tragic death of my partner and only one year after even my son, I decided to leave all challenges in the past and made my passion to my own business.
In June 2010 I started as a personal tour guide around Scotland and host guest's in either my Tipi or a spear room in my traditional Farm Cottage from 1016.
My passion is the beautiful nature, wild life, ancient culture which is still visible in many places, interesting people and outdoor activities. I do not hold any qualification anymore and can only act as a guide, but have the connections to qualified coaches in many fields. Challenge me (((-:
I only have a limited knowledge about the endless tragedies of the past, do not necessarily agree with the history it's often told, but can give you a different prospective.
If you like what you see please contact me and I will give my best to make it the holiday, you would like to experience.

Torsten was very knowledgeable and entertaining! We lucked out with a fairly sunny day, so his drives through beautiful countryside were fantastic. Very relaxing to let us really enjoy it. We had a special treat- he took us to meet his hobbit friend, Stuart, and that was definitely a once in a lifetime experience! Would recommend this tour if you want to see a different side, and less touristy adventure.
