A trip through the traditions of Italian cuisine and historic neighborhoods of Rome

When I was a kid the first thing I can still remember, when waking up in the early morning, is the incredible and intense smell coming from my mother's and granny's kitchen. Cuisine for us is not just food but a social ritual.

I come from the very south of Italy (the subregion Salento, located in Apulia) one of the most conservative areas in Italy, and therefore I grew up with the ancient traditions of food, which are now disappearing more and more in many parts of Italy as a result of modernity.
This tour aims at showing how cuisine shapes our daily life: we are going to visit a traditional open-air market and a bakery and later on we are going to visit the famous Jewish area to taste amazing typical Jewish food and then ham, cheese, pastas, dessert. . . and much more!
You are going to eat, walk, admire hidden parts of the city of Rome, and you will understand why we talk about food even after we finish eating!

**IF YOU HAVE ANY FOOD ALLERGIES OR DIET RESTRICTIONS, please inform me in advance.

Itinerary

We will stop 6 times to taste Italian cuisine. The areas we are going to see on the way are the following:

-Campo de' Fiori area (including a traditional oper-air market and a bakery)
-Jewish area (known as "Jewish Ghetto")

** IF YOU HAVE ANY FOOD ALLERGIES OR DIET RESTRICTIONS, please inform me in advance.
