8-hour Car & Walking Tour
Having been heavily destroyed during World War II, Warsaw rebuilt from ashes and still keeps growing and changing almost every day. On this tour I show you both historical sites as well as the new, fashionable sites - a must to see when you are new in town.
The new modern, open-minded generations bring to our city their new ideas and their joy of life, which changes our city into a modern European metropolis.
This tour will show you the different faces of Warsaw. So we start our tour with the invitation to the Royal Garden of Lazienki. After a stroll in the garden we continue the tour to the city center to talk about communism remains in the architecture of our town. We will also drive to the area which used to be an industrial district and right now it changes into a modern, office park. Later we cross Vistula River to show you the "worse" bank of the river which once was a home for the out-of-laws and today changes into one of the most up to date addresses in town.
We come back to the left river bank to drive through the former Jewish district to tell you a story of the Warsaw Jews during World War II. We finish the tour with the walk along the Old Town and the Royal Route.
I hope you will enjoy this day in Warsaw.
