Berlin, Germany

Guten Tag I am Jessica, Allow me to welcome you to the most fantastic city in the world - Berlin!

(and let me tell you why I think so. . . )

I am Swedish in origin and came to Berlin via another famous B - Broadway. After seven years as a professional dancer I swapped the boardwalk for the streets of Berlin and took the opportunity to combine my interest in history with my natural ability to entertain resulting in an unforgettable Berlin encounter. Since 2006 I have had the privilege to show people this fascinating city - the epicenter for 20th century history.

Book me for your first full day where I'll show you the highlights of this fascinating city and free of charge I include plenty of handy recommendations on do and and don'ts - most importantly; how to tackle the grumpy Berliners ; ) The tours are perfect for those of you who want a detailed overview of Berlin, regardless if you are here for a short stay and want to make the most of your limited time or if you are visiting for a longer stretch of time.

I am one of the most sought after guides in the city - not only because of my in depth knowledge of Berlin - past and present - but also for the phenomenal way in which I convey its history with spirit, suspense and compassion. Come and experience Berlin through my stories of the city and its people as they stood at the gates of history with my "multimedia" props and passionate recounting of some of history's most pivotal moments.

I offer personal walking tours of Berlin and it's surroundings and I operate on a first come first served basis and I cater to both individuals as well as groups. One of, if not the largest income in Berlin is tourism, treat yourself to a private guide which you don't have to share with 40 other people. Just you and the people you choose to join. I can customize the tours for you based on your interest and time you have available.

Here are some examples of the private tours I offer;

-Highlights of Berlin

-Cold War - the frontline of a divided city

-Jewish Berlin

-Third Reich - the rise and fall of Hitler

-Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp Memorial

-Memorial sites in and around Berlin

A Recent Review of this guide

This tour of post WWII, the Berlin Wall and the Iron Curtain was our second day with Jessica. Our granddaughters gained an important perspective about freedom and why it should not be taken for granted. We were sad to part with Jessica at the end of the day.
