Historical Introduction to the City
This tour will show you all the main sites and give you a thorough historical overview in four hours. The time will fly by as we see the best of what Berlin has to offer and as I explain Berlin's 800-year past, from its start as a small village along the Spree river to its current form as an exciting but economically struggling capital.
Berlin is enormous, but the main sites are conveniently located in the historical city center, which means that this tour is best done by foot. I like to set a slow but steady pace, so we'll keep moving but won't go too quickly. We can stop for photos whenever you'd like, and I'm happy to be your photographer, as well as your tour guide, when we're together.

Heather, is amazing. She created a private walking tour for a group 20 women who came to Berlin for the Xmas Markets. We found her knowledgeable, helpful and was able to "herd" us all around Berlin. We walked, took the bus, the train and visited 4 of the most popular markets. We were charmed by her personality and in awe of her knowledge of Berlin and it's history. She accommodated the slow walkers in the group, scheduled a bathroom break and made sure we learned about the important history. OUTSTANDING.
