UNESCO considers Conwy to be one of "the finest examples of late 13th century and early 14th century military architecture in Europe", and it is classed as a World Heritage site.
There has been a mussel industry in Conwy since the roman times. There will be an opportunity to sample or purchase the mussels.
Conwy is Britain's finest remaining medieval walled town. The walls retain three of the original gateways which makes an exciting walk.
Plas Mawr is not to be missed. Built in 1576 it has been restored to 16th century grandeur. It is one of the finest Elizabethan town houses in Britain
A visit to Conwy would not be complete without a look around Britain's smallest house.
This is a 3 hour tour starting with the Castle, then we will stroll down to the quay and visit the smallest house in Britain. There will be an opportunity to sample the famous Conwy mussels or traditional fish and chips.
We will then take a trail round the town climbing up on to the town wall and taking in the splendid sights. then I will show you the finest example of an Elizabethan town house.
