A walk to explore "SpaccaNapoli" and a guided tour in The National Museum of Capodimonte
Discover Naples through a local eye. The Old Town is listed World Cultural Heritage Site by the UN because it is the only European capital that still totally respects the Greek and roman urban structure. Visit its ancient monasteries and monumental buildings. Stop by San Gregorio and see how they produce artistic nativities same as they did 3 centuries ago. By public transportation we will move to Capodimonte Museum, which is one of the main painting gallery in Europe. It features Caravaggio, Michelangelo, Titian, Raphael, El Greco and Bruegel amongst the others. . We will also see its famous porcelains and the Royal Apartments. The Museum is surrounded by a beautiful park. Last but not least you hardly have anybody visiting the Museum, so you can really enjoy your time here
From Pizza del Gesà we are on an ancient greek and roman road called "Spaccanapoli". All the gothic and baroque churches and building face this narrow street. We will take a chance to enter some of those and to visit the area calle San Gregorio where the produce the nativities for Chrimas timen all year round. We could stop anywhere for an excellent, fast and cheap pizza. Then we move to the museum by public bus.
Once there we will take a look at the Park where you still have the ceramic shool form the 17 hundreds. Then we will visit the Gallery. This does take approximately 1 and half hour.

Without Fabrizio, we would not have fully appreciated the city of Naples. In his walking tour we visited churches, markets, and a museum. This gave us both a sense of Naples rich history and modern daily life. Highly recommended!
