Learn about 16th century Lisbon and it's conquistadores
The discovery walking tour is all about the neigborhood of Belém. Join me and together we can explore it in depth!
During 2 hours we're going to talk about the Portuguese Discovery period (15th and 16th century) but also learn that our relationship with the ocean is blended with our DNA. It started much before and it's still here! On this visit, I'm going to show you the Belém Tower (outside); the Monument of Discoveries and the church of Saint Jerôme (inside).
Finally, in the middle of our visit we'll have a sweet moment at the historical pastry shop "Pastéis de Belém" for coffee and the famous pastel de Belém (original recipe custard tart).
Will you join me?
