Heartland of Mother Russia
This 1 day tour outside Moscow is a perfect opportunity to get familiar with Russia's earlier history and culture and to experience two of the country's oldest cities: Vladimir and Suzdal.
Suzdal, a little peaceful town that has preserved its medieval layout, offers an unrivaled display of churches, monasteries, palaces and bell towers built from XIII through XVIII cc. amid serene fields and forests.
Vladimir, now a regional capital, boasts several monuments of XII century of exceptional historical and cultural value.
The tour lasts 12 hours but is programmed in a moderate pace with several moments of relax.
The most efficient way to do this tour is by comfortable fast-speed train from Moscow to Vladimir and back and locally by a private car/van.
