A food walk through crowded markets of Old Delhi with Old Delhi resident, this walk will help you taste the best street food available in Old Delhi from some of the oldest food places in the city. During this walk, we will visit different food joints, each one of which is in business for decades, some of which are there from generations. We will walk through some landmark markets, lively markets, ride rickshaws, walk a bit and stuff ourselves with delicious street food of Old Delhi.
From time immemorial India has been known as the land of spices. The Chinese, Arabs and the Europeans came to the shores of India lured by the spices grown here. Pepper, cardamom, ginger, turmeric, chilies, and seed spices such as cumin, celery, coriander, fennel are the most important Indian spices.

You will explore hidden treasures while tasting street food with a local person who has been trained at LSG Sky Chef in Hong Kong and Tokyo Flight Kitchen in Japan, while setting up catering department for Japan Airlines in India. It is an opportunity to refresh rejuvenate your mind, body & soul as it satisfies your cravings. It will also give an insight to Indian home, culture, traditions and Culinary Experience Of Home-Cooked Food.
What to wear: Because of little conservative society in Old Delhi - Ladies, please dress modestly (wear dress which cover your shoulders and your legs below the knees), Please ensure you are carrying cap for adequate protection against the sun. Usually you have to take off footwear to visit Indian houses, but check with your host as this rule may apply only to some areas of the house.

For hotel pickup, we'll be using a private, air conditioned vehicles. In the cases of larger groups, we may use two vehicle, but there is no additional cost. This is only used for transport from the hotel to the starting point, and back at the end.
During the tour, we'll walk, we will also have a ride in a rented Cycle Rickshaw.

2000 INR - You will not need any extra money during the tour as food, taxes and fares are part of the tour cost. However, you may like to buy some Indian fresh spices for your family and friends.
