I am an archaeologist, graduated at the University La Sapienza in Rome.
During my university studies in Classical Archaeology, I participated in national and international projects, such as the study of Roman pottery in the area of Testaccio, several archaeological excavations in Rome (Roman Forum, Palatine Hill) and in the Lazio region area (Albano Laziale, Falacrinae and Segni). Moreover, I focused on ancient art history with a thesis on iconographic motifs in Roman art.
After my degree, I completed my PhD, with a workshop focused on Sacred architecture in late Republican Rome and influences with the Greek area. Furthermore, I spent periods of study abroad (France and Greece) analyzing in depth the topic of the archaeological and architectural developments in the Greek-Roman world.
I really love my job since I like sharing my knowledge with people coming from all over the world!

Dimosthenis was great! He was extremely knowledgeable , well organized and very flexible. We overslept and arrived late. He managed to take it all in his stride and still complete the tour. Would definitely recommend. His archeology background made for a most interesting tour. We saw the Pantheon today so far my family 's favorite. Thanks Dimosthenis !
