As a Seoulite and licensed guide, there are a few places and hidden gems that I'd like to introduce to you. The Korean Government only awards qualified and knowledgeable professionals a license for leading travelers across the nation. The very small number of license holders can work with this pride as a tour guide!
The real cream of the crop in traveling is to have fun and try things as locals do. The most praise I've ever received is "You are FUN to be with!" YES, I AM talkative all the time, and that makes your time fun and sweet. Half across the planet, flying to and from, your travel time is such a draining time, spent watching two or three movies back to back, and ending up with 4 hours STILL to go. As a frequent traveler, I've been there and done that. I know what you are looking for.
The tour with me always starts with a story that makes you get the gist of Seoul in a relatively short time. In particular, Seoul is a symbol of long lasting Korean History, running from Old Stone Age to modern day, leaving all the good things and sad history. My suggestion is to walk the winding alleys of buildings and houses, taking in locals' mundane life as much as possible. Why don't you go for it with ME!

Jiyoon was a pleasure to be with and super glad she was recommended to me by the people here. IF you had to pick someone, I would say choose her!
