Enjoy a 4-hour private tour to the city's historical quarters and the Royal Palace
Our private tour will start at Plaza de Oriente, a beautiful square with wonderful gardens. Then, we will enter the Royal Palace, the former residence of the Spanish kings, located at the site where the foundation of Madrid took place.
Discover the oldest quarter of Madrid, the Madrid of the Habsburgs, the first neighborhood of Madrid when Madrid became the capital in 1561. In this district we will enjoy the magnificence of its architecture at the Plaza de la Villa, a beautiful square where it is possible to admire some of the nicest and oldest buildings in the city.
We will also learn about the multiple events hosted at the Plaza Mayor throughout the centuries. Walking down, we will cross to Cava Baja to know the oldest inns in Madrid and some of the most typical locals bars and restaurants of the capital.
Of course, the Puerta del Sol couldn't be left out as it is the heart of the city and probably the most famous square in the whole of Spain.
The tour starts at agreed upon location or at Plaza de Oriente with its sculptures and beautiful gardens.
We will then visit the Royal Palace for about and hour and 15 minutes, which is the perfect time to enjoy its elegance and magnificence. The walking tour starts when we go out from the Palace to discover the Madrid of the Habsburgs, the first neighborhood of the city after being proclaimed the capital of the former empire.
On our visit to the neighborhood, we will stop at the Plaza de la Villa to contemplate some of the oldest and most charming buildings of Madrid.
Our next stop will be the Plaza Mayor, one of the most beloved historical sites where multiple events during Spanish history took place. Walking down, we will discover one of the most typical streets of the old district, the Cava Baja to learn a little bit about Spanish food and to discover a few surprises.
We will continue towards our last stop, the Puerta del Sol, considered the most vibrant square in Madrid and also one of its symbols.

Meeting location: We can meet up at your hotel or at any place in the city centre, although I would suggest starting at Plaza de Oriente, whose subway station is Opera.
End location: It can be at any place of the city centre or at your hotel.
