I am a licensed tourist guide, which means that in order to be able to give tours in all the archaeological sites and historic monuments of Greece, I had to take a 3 year in-depth course and successfully pass the Greek Ministry of Tourism exams.
I am a native Santorinian, I have deep knowledge of its history, culture, traditions and my joy is to share this with you in a lighthearted and friendly way. But my true love for Santorini is what stimulates me to do my job with passion and sense of responsibility. A passionate traveller myself when I travel abroad, I love to interact with the locals. During our tour, my aim is for you to have the same experience so as to discover my island's beauties and history, while you immerse into the real culture and feel the experience as a real local. What I always try to do is to personalize my tours tailored to my customers. Thus every tour can be exclusive, individual, exactly to your liking, informative and above all joyous and memorable. Because the one thing I love as a private guide , is to build a more intimate relationship with my guests, I specialize in small groups of all ages and also families with children. At the end of the day I want you to feel that you had not only an expert at your service but also a new Greek friend.
Since every moment counts, our tour can also combine the opportunity of having with you your own professional photographer who will discreetly capture you and the islands' beauties in a contemporary and candid style (no cheesy smiles, no poses !!).
Come walk with me to discover Santorini's archaeological wonders, discover the blue domes, wander around traditional villages and taste its local food and wine.
Do not hesitate to contact me for any curiosity, info or request you might have.
I look forward to hearing from you and booking our special shore excursion or tour together.
Travel is the one thing you buy that makes you richer!!
A Recent Review of this guide
Eugenia was engaging and exceptionally well prepared as she led us on a tour of the ruins of Akrotiri--"the Pompeii of Greece," as she described it. When I was planning our visit to Santorini, I learned that the island is Greece's main wine producer, so I emailed Eugenia and asked if she could arrange one or two winery visits and tastings. She customized our tour and made the arrangements for us--one of the reasons that I like using Tours By Locals.
