Discover the secrets of America's strangest small town.
Beverly Hills is known the world over as a city of wealth, prestige, and extravagance. But scratch just below the surface. . . and you'll find one of the most diverse, historic, and authentically bizarre communities anywhere. Nestled within the city limits we'll explore exotic flora, architectural oddities, and a revolving cast of eccentric residents—plus the fast cars, trendy boutiques, and multi-million dollar homes that give the neighborhood its international reputation. I'll also fill you in on the current hotspots and celebrity hangouts that continue to make Beverly Hills a must-visit destination.
We'll start in Beverly Gardens Park for a brief history of the city and some of its famous residents. Then we'll checkout some of the eccentric architecture the city is known for. I'll then show you some celebrity hangouts of the past and present as we head to Rodeo Drive, known as "the most expensive street in the world". We'll continue to weave through the city streets, seeing a number of obscure landmarks that most tourists overlook. The tour ends near the official Beverly Hills gift shop.
