Explore one of the most important Jewish museums in the world

Attracting between 500, 000 to 600, 000 visitors each year, the Prague Jewish Museum is consistently the most frequented museum in the Czech Republic.
During this tour you will visit the different synagogues, unique Jewish cemetery and learn about the life and traditions of Jews who had to live confined in the former Prague Jewish ghetto for more than 600 years. Did you know that Prague is the only European city which kept its Jewish heritage during WWII? Come along this tour and learn why.

During 3 hours you will learn about the fate of the Jews in the Czech lands which constitutes a significant part of Czech national history and represents an important chapter in the history of the Jewish people in the Diaspora. We will visit interiors of the Jewish Museum established in 1906, one of the oldest Jewish museums in Europe. At the core of its collection are items from synagogues that had been demolished as a result of the clearance of the Prague Jewish ghetto as well as liturgical objects, books and archival documents from the defunct Jewish communities for the duration of the WWII.
Interiors to visit: Pinkas Syngogue, Spanish Synagogue, Old-New Synagogue (the oldest active in Europe), Klausen Synagogue, Old Jewish Cemetery, Ceremonial Hall and Maisel Synagogue.
