See the places where major political events happened in the 2nd half of 20th century with a private guide
The 20th century is probably one of the most dramatical eras in the Czech history. The tour will show you the most relevant places connected to the history after the WWII. In last century the Czech people lived the democratic regime, in two totalitarian systems, and only after the Velvet Revolution in 1989 a new democracy began. After being picked up, we walk through the city center to see the places where the important events happened. We can also visit the Museum of Communism.
pick up at your hotel. During this tour you will be taken to the Wenceslas Square (with Jalta hotel, Lucerna building), Narodni avenue - commemorating the Velvet Revolution, the John Lennon's Wall. You will hear about the daily life in the communist system as I believed that is the best way how to catch a little bit this sad chapter of our history.
We can visit Museum of Communism too, there are some artifacts showing the „normal life in abnormal conditions".
