Private tour to Mělník Castle
Just 35 km north of Prague lies one of Central Bohemia's most beautiful towns, Mělník. It is situated at the junction of the longest Czech rivers, the Vlatava and the Labe.
Mělník castle is a Renaissance-era baroque chateau, from which Czech nobles enjoyed an incredible view over the town and neighboring vineyards, and into the river valley.
Live like a king, and enjoy the castle's views, gorgeous interiors, and some of the finer things in life.
From your hotel in Prague, our driver will take us to Mělník, 35 km north of the city.
See the beautiful town of Mělník, whose medieval roots are still visible everywhere you turn.
From the castle, we will share the view Bohemian royalty enjoyed as they lorded over the region. We will visit the beautiful interior of the castle and have a chance to eat at the local castle restaurant. Upon request, we can sample exclusive wine from the barrels stored in the castle's cellars. The sommelier there can detail the deep history of the region's vineyards.
If you're looking for something sweet, the castle courtyard also includes an outstanding pastry shop.
We will visit St. Peter and Paul's church, directly next to the castle. The church is most famous for it's crypt, where the bones of thousands of people are stored in an ossuary that was sealed in the 1780s by imperial decree--only reopened in the last century.
