Discover the history and legends of this place: the Golem, pogroms, and WW II
This tour is suitable for people who are interested in Jewish culture and the history of Prague's Jewish Town. The tour includes the Old Jewish Cemetery, Maisel Synagogue, Pinkas Synagogue, Klausen Synagogue, Spanish Synagogue, Old-New Synagogue, and the Ceremonial Hall.
The richness of history and legends of this place is phenomenal. You will hear great stories about Golem (the man of clay), and his creator rabbi Löw. The unfortunate history about pogroms (organised killing of Jews), plague epidemics, restrictions and prohibitions for Jews will also be mentioned here.
The most unfortunate events around World War II will be explained in Pinkas Synagogue, which is nowadays memorial of 80 000 killed or exterminated Jews from our country.
I am looking forward to provide you detailed, and interesting information about lives of Jews in Prague , and in my country.
