Since I have spent all my life in Prague, I know lots of non-touristy places, including parks, hidden alleyways and abandoned corners, pubs, bars and cafés etc. where a local atmosphere can be smelt and sensed. I do offer wide array of varied sorts of tours / experiences, including both educational / informative (I have studied history at the local Charles University) and entertaining programs (like beer tours, ghost and legend tours and others).
Why do I think I represent a really good option of hiring a tour guide:
I can offer perfect knowledge of Prague (including non-touristy places).
I can spare your money (can recommend you places with lower prices of drinks etc. ).
I know the local mentality / moods / feelings since I am native Czech.
I can get you familiar with local life incl. contemporary social and economical situation.
I am able to deliver serious historical lectures and explain you things and topics really deeply.
Last but not least I love humour and believe you will like my style of it.
That is why I would like to ask you for giving me a chance to show you that life in Czechia is in some terms harsh and demanding but lots of our people (I consider myself one of these) take things with humour which in my opinion represents one of benchmarks of our national mentality (we are not just a beer drinker's country, you know… ;-)
In general terms - and to sum things up - by hiring me you will get a chance of learning about Czech history and current life here from someone whose position is:
- long-termed professional tour guide
- son and grandson (my ancestor were fighting in both world wars…)
- local dude
- reservist soldier
- communist era survivor
- tax payer and voter
- real passionate about his work (I take it mainly as a hobby which accidentally I am paid for. I would not have been able to do this job for such a long time if I had not really liked it).
If you prefer an informal approach and are willing to chat with someone who is straightforward then I am your man. I am looking forward to welcome you at one of my tours!

Petr is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. He greeted us on time and focused on what was important to us. Would hire him again.

I am not a driver. In the centre of Prague it has no sense. Also trying to save our environment. I am bringing up children here...
In case of "out-of-Prague" tours I am able to obtain a driver with a car / van / minibus.
