Where the kings dwelt and the big three met after WWII
The beautiful city of Potsdam is the place to enjoy some serenity away from the hustle and bustle of Berlin. Once the summer residence of the Hohenzollern electors and Prussian kings, Potsdam offers a trip into the royal past of Berlin and Brandenburg. But not enough: the city was also the stage for crucial events in the history of the 20th century.
A handshake in a church, a meeting in a royal palace after WWII and a hidden Stasi prison. There are many stories to tell in Potsdam whilst marveling at the beauty of the royal palaces and gardens and experiencing the international architecture mix of pre-war times.
Places we can visit on the tour:
The old town square with the new palace
Sanssouci gardens and palace (outside)
Church of peace
The Dutch quarter
Royal horse stables
