Old meets new: communism, royalty, modernity, Chopin and a beautiful park!
Old meets new, communism shakes hands with modernity in the city centre. A bird in The Lazienki Park sings one of Chopin's mazurkas, while the reconstructed walls of the Old Town tell amazing tales. I would like to show you an unusual Warsaw - a place where Chopin's heart is buried, a bustling university campus, a magical park and places remembering the greatest tragedies of World War II.
The Lazienki Park - beautiful at any time of the year - is on the top of the list 'must see in Warsaw'. The favorite monument of Warsaw - the monument of Chopin - is surrounded here by a rose garden. Here the peacocks walk along the paths, and red squirrels jump on the trees. It is also a place where time stopped in the 18th century - enchanted in the walls of palaces and temples.
Just behind the corner you will see the post-communist city center with the tallest building in Poland, the widest streets of Warsaw, which lead smoothly to the elegant alleys of The Royal Road.
It will be an unforgettable tour!
We will walk through the Lazienki Park, visit the city centre, drop by for the best coffee in the city and will continue the tour along The Royal Road towards The Old Town, to finish where the Jewish ghetto used to be.
