Travel via St Kilda and the famous Brighton Bathing Boxes to magnificent Phillip Island, with its stunning coastal scenery.
Get close up with koalas and other unique Australian wildlife at the Koala Conservation Centre.
Visit the spectacular Nobbies and view Seal Rock. Or get even closer to the seals by taking the optional EcoBoat tour.
Then after dinner, view the world famous Penguin Parade from a special reserved area, before a late night return to Melbourne.
Note - this tour starts after lunch as the penguins do not arrive at Penguin Parade until sunset and it is a 2. 5 hour trip back to Melbourne, meaning the tour will not finish till after 10pm in winter and 11pm in summer.
Should you be adventurous and want a longer tour that starts in the morning, I can prepare a custom tour to meet your needs. Some options are to travel on Puffing Billy vintage steam train, view Australian wildlife at Moonlit Sanctuary, spend some time at the historic Warrook farm, or a city highlights tour.
This tour starts at your hotel or cruise ship and travel via Melbourne's leafy and rich south eastern suburbs and fertile agricultural area before crossing the bridge to Phillip Island, Melbourne's playground.
Visit the Koala Conservation Centre to see koalas, echidnas, wallabies up close.
Visit the rugged Nobbies and tall windswept coastal cliff overlooking Seal Rocks. Or if you are game experience the thrills of a 90 minute high speed EcoBoat tour to the local Australian fur seal colony and Phillip Island's rugged and spectacular coastline. (Please let me know if you want this option to allow me to book for you, but you will need to pay operator on the day)
Spend the evening at the Penguin Parade experiencing the wonder of Penguins returning to their burrows from the sea at sunset, before the late evening return to Melbourne.
Please note that it can be cold, windy and even raining at the Penguins even if a good day is forecast for Melbourne. Please bring additional clothing and jackets to keep warm!
