I love this city and would love to give you a tour. The historic section is my favorite--we can tour nearly 20 of the historic sites including several of the historic churches since these churches played a major role in guaranteeing freedom of religion (they are all gorgeous by the way!!!).
As we move from site to site we can talk about all the interesting stories of the founders like Robert Morris. He was the wealthy guy that financed the Revolution but later died in debtors prison. We'll talk about the influentials as well like Saints Catherine Drexel and John Neumann both of whom had enormous impacts on the city. We can even take a pilgrimage to Saint John Neumann's shrine!! We can also talk about (and try!) all those Philly firsts like pretzels, mustard and everyone's favorite--cheesesteaks!!
My tours are customizable, kid-friendly and wheelchair friendly. The tours are walking tours, but depending on your interests I can add transportation.
A little about me--aside from living in my favorite city, I teach Physics at Thomas Jefferson University here in Philly and also at Manor College which is just outside the city. Prior to teaching, I was a Physicist and Engineer for the Army where I developed Command, Control and Communications systems for the soldiers. A big part of that career included teaching the soldiers how to use the computer and communications systems I had developed for them.
I hope you will choose me as your guide in making Philadelphia the most Phun and Phabulous city you've ever visited!!

Amazing walking tour by very knowledgable and wonderful guide Luanne made us fall in love with Philadelphia. We learned a lot and our daughter, 11, and her friend were engaged the whole time as well, which says a lot. Thank you for an unforgettable experience! Karolin
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Physics so I love talking about Ben Franklin and all of his experiments. I also have a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering (really big Franklin Fan!!!) and another Master's Degree in Biomedical Sciences.
