Starting with the Lenape (Delaware) Indians, the original inhabitants of both Philadelphia and the surrounding region, we trace the growth and development of William Penn's "green country towne" to it's current incarnation as a UNESCO world heritage site.

Starting in Olde City we will trace the history of the city while making stops at Elfreth's Alley, The Liberty Bell, Art Museum, Burial Ground of Ben Franklin, and wrap up at Reading Terminal for lunch.

Meeting location: Pick up locations can be any of the following:
Center City based hotel.
End location: You can be dropped off at your pick up location or left at any anywhere along tour route.
Duration: 3 hours
This tour doesn't operate under severe rain or snow.
The standard tour is a mix of walking, taxi, and subway. If preferred there is a driven version of the tour with an alternative price depending on the number of participants.
