See the Hermitage highlight in 3-hour tour
In the course of the tour you will see the four buildings of the central complex of this celebrated museum. You will see the state and living apartments of the Romanovs and know the story of this dynasty, see the rich collection of applied art, paintings and sculpture, masterpieces by Leonardo da Vinci, Titian, Rembrandt, Rubens and many other eminent masters.
This is a good tour for those who come to the museum for the first time and does not realize how huge the museum collection is. I will be happy to guide you around and show you the highlights of this vast collection. If you are already familiar with the Hermitage, we can focus on sections you have a particular interest in.
I have a quiz for kids which makes the tour more exciting for both children and adults.
The 3-hour tour includes
•State and living apartments of the Romanovs
•the Romanovs Gallery of portraits
•the Pavilion Hall
•the Italian, Spanish, Flemish, Dutch art collections
•and many other things if you have any particular interest.
The French collection presented in the central complex covers the period from XV to XVIII centuries and DOES NOT include French Impressionists and Post-Impressionists. The collection of the State Hermitage is so tremendous that you can see only the best masterpieces within this time. I am really flexible and you can be sure that I will try my best to adjust the tour in accordance with your wishes.
The collection of French Art of XIX and XX centuries is exhibited in the General Staff Building and requires an extra admission fee. If you are interested in seeing it, I will be happy to arrange a separate tour for you.
