Perugia's Artisans at work. A journey from Art to Craft

When it comes to shopping for unique and traditional crafts, Perugia is a good place to be!
This City , whose artisanal traditions go back to Etruscan times, boasts a number of artisans' workshops, where highly-skilled craft-masters produce superb objects using ancient techniques.
The mediaeval city centre is an open-air gallery of art and architecture, but many of Perugia's most fascinating secrets stay hidden from the average visitor, such as the traditional workshops of artists and artisans!

We will discover the old medieval tradition of gothic stained glass creations carried on in the Studio Moretti Caselli where Maddalena still continues the family's production of stained glass, with five generations of glassmakers, we will then proceed to the textile studio Giuditta Brozzetti, located in a 13th century church, where Marta carries on a multigenerational labor of love that focuses on handmade textile produced on 18th century looms.

Any change to customize this tour according to your needs is welcome!
