A taste of Penang's culinary tradition

Penang is well known as one of Asia's best food destinations.

The multicultural society of Penang makes these cuisines unique because it offers a mixture of traditional Malay, Chinese and Indian dishes, as well as fusion cuisines eg. Baba Nyonya food, which has a mixture of Chinese, Malay and Thai cooking spices and methods. It is popular among locals and tourists alike.

On February 22, 2013, Penang was ranked as one of the top ten street food cities in Asia. Penang was also voted as the top culinary destination in 2014, and it was ranked 2nd out of 17 best places to visit in 2017.

Apart from savoring the local food experience, this tour will also take travelers to visit heritage venues of settlers - the Clan Jetties, heritage places of worship, heritage Baba Nyonya museum, and a ride on one of the living heritage of Penang - the Trishaw.
