In one exciting day we've packed everything needed for admiring great architecture and enjoying spirit of old times. We will explore several finest examples of Hungarian secession architecture style in this part of Europe, starting with Palić, continuing to Subotica and finally reaching Sombor.
First stop is Palić, where famous architects from Budapest, Marcell Komor and Dezso Jakab designed the whole central area of Great Park with its most important buildings: Water tower, Grand terrace, Women's lido and Memorial well.
From Palić we continue to Subotica where main targets on our route are mansion of Ferenz Raichl, City Hall, fountains made from Zsolnay ceramics, the Synagogue.
From Subotica we drive directly through Bačka plain to Sombor. We arrive to the center of this beautiful town where several sights surround us: Municipality building, Carmelite's church, fantastic squares and parks. After Sombor sightseeing we go to Dida Horanjk's farm for traditional Bačka lunch.
