Half-day private tour of Hiroshima
Explore the tragic past of Hiroshima and its hope for the future during this memorable, half-day sightseeing excursion.
An exterior visit is made to the Atomic Bomb Dome, the skeletal remains of the former Industrial Promotion Hall. The dome serves as a visual reminder of the death and destruction of the atom bomb, and is the only blast survivor left in ruins.
Afterward, visit the Peace Memorial Park, National Memorial Hall for the Atomic Bomb Victims(including watching a short film), and Peace Museum.
From the top of the Orizuru Tower, you enjoy the beautiful view of the Peace Memorial Park and the city of Hiroshima.
Hiorhima castle was built in 1589, but destroyed by the blast of the Atomic boming. The castle keep was rebuilt in 1958 and made into a museum introducing Hiroshima's history through assorted informational materials and scale models.
Shukkeien Garden was originally built in 1620 by Ueda Soko, a renowned master of the tea ceremony, as a villa garden for a feudal lord of Hiroshima.

Yoshi was a great tour guide. She was very knowlegable and her English was very good and easy to understand. She took us to the best Okonomiyaki restaurant for lunch. Yoshi has a very fun personality and made our day very enjoyable.
