For some inexplicable reason my enchantment of all things French enticed me to move to the magical landscape of Gascony, in the Occitanie region in southwestern France, where I have been living for the past 11 years. It has been an endlessly rewarding adventure. Nine years ago I launched a monthly blog about living in France that is now read by Francophiles in over 80 countries, and I've written over a hundred articles for the internet magazine, Bonjour Paris, and I'm a contributor to the British magazine, France Today. It would be my pleasure to share my discoveries with fellow lovers of travel, art, history, cuisine and culture and to impassion you to learn about what makes SW France so unique on my enthusiastically guided tours of one of the most beautiful landscapes in France, relatively unknown except to insiders.
A Recent Review of this guide
Our group consisted of 5 adults and 4 children ages 5-7. Sue arranged the tour to fit our various physical abilities and also gave us an overview of the important sites at the Lourdes Sanctuary in France. We had a morning tour but were then able, at out leisure, to revisit and spend more time at the places that we were most interested in. Sue is very friendly, knowledgeable, attentive to our questions and managed to get answers to some of our "out of the way" questions. We'd ask for her next time.
