When I was young & had foreign friends visiting me I was touring them the city on the backseat of my old Vespa. It has always been a great load of fun!
I love to travel & try to discover new destinations & cultures every year. I think that exploring a new place from a local point of view is completely different than just being a simple tourist. It is not about going to the main sights it is also about what is between them. The smell of a bakery in the morning or the noise coming from a local market. I believe that what makes a place what it is is not the monuments or the buildings but the people living there.
I have now been showing the city to hundreds of people from all around the world for the last 2, 5 years & even if I have been living there for almost 30 years I always discover new things.
Don't expect a regular tour from me where you just follow your guide & listen. I see my tours more like a dialog or a conversation. It must not be about learning every piece of history but something more simple yet more intensive & difficult to achieve, it must be about having a good-time.
I am not a licensed guide and will not be able to guide you inside of the historical monuments.
