I studied both in New York and Paris, where I got my Masters of Arts Degree in the History of Art and Archaeology in 2016. I am currently writing a PhD Thesis about french landscape paintings from the 17th century, at the Sorbonne University.
In 2017, I obtained the Guide License provided by the Ministere de la Culture, and I have organized tours in the most important parisian museums (Louvre, Orsay, Pompidou, Versailles, Notre Dame, Orangerie. . . ). I have and continue to work at the Louvre directly with the curators and I often write exhibition catalogues and essays. I am always eager to share my passion with foreign visitors.
A Recent Review of this guide
Hugo was very knowledgeable, friendly, informative, and visibly passionate about the louvre and the artwork within it. He showed us not only the greats, but hidden gems that made the tour special. His enthusiasm was contagious and we highly recommend him for tours!
