The stories around and behind - story telling from an impressionist artist - from the past until today
We will meet in front of the popular Moulin Rouge and start our fascinating journey in the steps of the impressionist artists.
Our walk starts at rue Lepic, where Picasso has had for years his atelier and also Vincent van Gogh has lived with his brother Theo. We will cross place des Abbesses with the famous wall from two street artists written in more than 200 languages "je t'aime".
I will explain to you why the impressionist artists moved to Montmartre, the highest hill in Paris in the 18th century and explain to you the technique of impressionist art. I will have sketches with me. Also some really interesting street art, so also meet modern artists. How is the artists life today. Storytelling.
From a terasse a beautiful view and a glass of wine with charcuterie and cheese for you. After this tasting we will go up to sacre coeur, the basilica and cross "place du Tertre", where until now the street artists are painting live. From sacre coeur we take the funicular to go down after a beautiful view all around.
