"Made in Mallorca"
See Palma from a different perspective by visiting the studios and workshops of the artists and artisans who live and work there. Palma has gotten the attention of the international community and is booming with new talent producing an array of locally designed and handmade articles. I will introduce you to an exceptional artisan who makes unique handcrafted concert classical and flamenco guitars. Mallorca has a 500 year history in guitarmaking! A fashion designer who creates exquisite handpainted silk clothing. Experience "Slow Design" in the form of sustainable clothing, shoes, handbags, headwear, handmade espadrilles. Talk with a contemporary ceramicist, a sculptor or a classical portrait artist in their studios. Visit shops that have been in business for over 100 years. Touch and, in some cases, taste, their products. An ideal tour to see contemporary Palma and maybe find that special gift "Made in Mallorca". Great tour for those interested in the craft and artistic process.

Gina is one great guide. She met us at the cruise terminal as agreed. It was a joy listening to her about the island that she loved. She took us to an olive processing plant, an artist studio and places in between. Great lunch and shopping as requested.
