Discover Palma's Secret Corners and Mallorca's Wine Heritage
Palma goes better with wine! We will delve into the city's past discovering its secret corners. as well as the island's wine culture. Mallorca has well over 70 wineries, impossible to visit them all especially on a short visit. We've put together the best of the island's wines as well as an introduction to it's treasure of native grapes, all in one place and without leaving Palma! Have you ever heard of Callet, Manto Negro, Fogoneu or Gorgollosa grapes? We'll not only taste the final product but discover what makes Mallorca's wines so unique with our fun and entertaining wine expert in a cool bodega surrounded by over 600 local, classic and international wines.
If arriving for the day on a cruise ship, we will meet up in Plaza de La Lonja. Once you have made a reservation, I will send you instructions as how to get there.
During the first 2 hours, we will stroll through Palma's historic streets discovering its secret corners. If visiting in the morning, we will include a stop at the city's indoor fish, produce, cheese and ham market. (Market closes at 2:30pm)
After a 2 hour walking tour of Palma, it will be time to try some wine. We will head over to my favorite urban winery to taste a selection of 3-4 wines accompanied by a plate of Iberian ham and/or local cheeses. The bodega visit lasts approximately 1 hour.
Winetasting is for those 18 years and over. Children and non-drinkers are welcome on this tour. I would be happy to entertain the kids by taking them to Palma's oldest ice cream parlor, shopping or to other sites during the winetasting.

Wow! Gina is a wealth of knowledge about La Palma and offers the most lovely tour. We really enjoyed our time in this beautiful city! Toured the huge local Market with all of the fresh offerings then up and down all of the quaint cobblestone streets, so very nice. Finished with a superb Wine Tasting experience. Thank you Gina for an amazing day! We hope to see you again soon!
