Discover the unusual in this private tour
Far from being morbid, Palma's cemetery is filled with stories about stunning victories and heart-wrenching tragedies, a different way to view the culture and history of the island. It's also a sculpture garden of intricately crafted stone tombs, angels and elaborate architecture where Modernism abounds.
Get to know some of its occupants like the sixth richest man in the world, a New Zealand beauty called the 'Garbo of the Skies', or a world famous opera singer. Learn why 66 Italian sailors and aviators are buried here and hear about the characters and their victims who participated in some of the darkest moments of Spanish 20th century history.
And if you happen to be visiting Palma on November 1st, All Saints Day, we can join some 25, 000 souls who will visit Palma's cemetery that day. What an experience!
This 2-hour tour can be combined with any other tour. Just ask!
