All-day to see more of Prince Edward Island or beyond

Prince Edward Island has so much more to show you than can be fit in a five or six hours. For a deeper understanding of Island life and to see the varied landscape, have time for our provincial museum network or sample food from east to west, I can put together a private tour itinerary to suit your wishes.

Culture, history, food, landscape, seascape, people.
Send me a message to tell me your interests and the number of days. Each day we would stop for lunch or I can stay with you through dinner (not included in the tour cost). The cost of the tour is based on minimum 8-hours each day for two days. More days are certainly possible.

Stops can include: locations in the life of author L. M. Montgomery, including Green Gables House, abundant landscapes and seascapes, lighthouses, fishing villages, walking trails, beaches, unpaved quiet country roads, artisan shops, museums, cultural sites, historic homes, and more. There is a beautiful Island scene waiting around every bend in the road.

Itinerary

The itinerary details are up to you, but here is a brief sample of what can be done in a two-day tour:
Historic Charlottetown including Great George Street National Historic Street and information about the 1864 Charlottetown Conference, a drive through modern Charlottetown, then along the south shore to beautiful Victoria-by-the-Sea, once a thriving trade and transportation port and now an artisan village (maybe try a Factory Coffee at Island Chocolates) then an up-close and panoramic look at the record-setting Confederation Bridge to New Brunswick. The City of Summerside can include Wyatt Heritage Properties and a guided tour of LeFurgey House, looking much as it did nearly a century ago. Maybe a lobster roll on the wharf. On the return to Charlottetown, we drive through the heart of potato country and, if time allows, we can see another historic site in the city.
Day two would be the PEI north shore, including Cavendish, Glasgow Glen, PEI Preserve Company and PEI's unique red cliffs and white beaches
