Jacques Cartier was the first European to record seeing PEI and called it " The fairest land 'tis possible to see. " Tour with me and I am sure you will agree. I am very proud of my home for its beauty, the people, and our special Island way of life. I know the Island and its history well and am happy to share it with you.
I have been providing tours for friends and visitors for decades. Scenic views, heritage places, history and modern Island life will all be covered in your tour. If you have a particular interest, let me know and we can adapt the tour to suit you. I am at your service.
PEI is relatively small. It is only 30 minutes, for example, from Charlottetown on the south shore to Cavendish on the north shore so there is more time to step out into the fresh Island air. The four hour "North Shore's Finest" tour is quite adequate to capture highlights of historic Charlottetown and the central north shore including Cavendish Beach look-off, Green Gables House (the setting for "Anne of Green Gables" and a fine representation of a late 19th century Island home). You will see different routes on the way to the north shore and on our return for maximum exposure to our amazing countryside. Five hours allows for extra comfort breaks and a lunch stop, or to go slightly farther afield to specific places of interest. Lighthouses and a winery, or the amazing Confederation Bridge are also worth seeing on my tours designed for visit to those sites. The food and beverage tasting tour is new for 2018.
History, heritage, culture, food, scenic vistas, water views, farming, fishing villages and red dirt roads - we can do it together, as you choose. I know you will love Prince Edward Island and it would be my pleasure to show it to you, tell you about it and answer your questions. You will understand what a special place it is. I'll be here to show you my Island. Until then, best wishes. Kevin L

We went on 3 private tours during our cruise. Our time spent with Kevin was by far our favorite of the entire week. He is a supremely knowledgeable and friendly guide. He created a full, lovely, relaxing day that included a great lunch stop and a special experience at the Red Cliffs. We stayed for a good length of time to photograph,climb/explore and simply sit and take in the visual and auditory natural wonder of it all. This particular stop was deemed our favorite of the entire trip and shared many times.
