My name is Colette. I was born and raised here in Ottawa and love to show it off. I have been in love with my home town from a tender age, when my parents took me to the museums, galleries and the Byward Market as a young girl. When I was old enough to go out on my own, I would hop on the city buses to explore the different regions and as an adult, I visit and re-visit the places I have grown to love.
I will not only show you all the great locations that make Ottawa so unique but tell you the stories about the people and places you will see from its humble beginnings to the beautiful city it is today.
I started giving tours in the late 1970's on a part time basis. Since my retirement in 2011, I have been providing tours on a full time basis. Being retired I have more time to devote to you - the visitors to Ottawa. I can give you exactly the type of tour you want - targeting your interests.
Let me be the person to show and tell you why Ottawa is such a great place to visit.

Colette was a fantastic tour guide! We had two young boys with us and she really tailored her walking speed and her topics to the kids, without leaving out other important facts for the adults. We highly recommend booking a tour with Colette! Thank you for a great tour!
