For the last 20 years I have lived and worked in Oslo, where I was born. I therefore have an intimate knowledge of most aspects of Oslo's history, museums, art and architecture, town planning, etc.
I am also interested in current affairs.
The 10 years I have lived abroad - in the US (exchange student), France (student), Germany and South Africa - added by extensive travelling - have broadened my understanding of different cultures and made me aware of the unique values of living in Norway. I always enjoy coming back to Oslo - a city in constant change and development, beautifully situated between the blue fjord and the green hills.
I would love to share some of my knowledge and enthusiasm with tourists visiting my city.
A Recent Review of this guide
We had a perfect first day in Oslo with Kirsti. We knew that we wouldn't be up for a city tour on our arrival day so we asked to be taken to Nordmarka to walk/hike. It was absolutely perfect. Kirsti was the perfect guide. She was flexible (we had missed lunch and had to eat), informative, knowledgeable, and easily adjusted to our needs. While we walked she shared every kind of interesting tidbit imaginable. The weather happened to be perfect and we had a perfect view of Oslo from the summit.Kirsti=perfect
