Let's walk in the "the golden circle" of Oslo!
On our walking tour we see the Opera House, the Cathedral the main street, the Parlament, the National Theatre, the University, the Royal Palace and the City Hall where the Nobel Peace Prize is presented every year the 10th of December.
We take a tram approx. 10 to 15 minutes to the Gustav Vigeland Sculpture Park. This beautiful park is the largest sculpture park in the world created by one single artist. From the park we take a bus to visit the Vikingship museum. After we walk for approx 10-15 minutes through a beautiful residential area, to visit The Fram museum. We enjoy a little ferry ride back to Aker brygge in the city center, and here you find the Nobel Peace center and Astrup Fearnly museum, which you can do by your own if you want. At Aker Brygge you will also find a lot of good restaurants for lunch and dinner.
Pleace see the tour descriptions. In the Vigeland park, the walking distance is 850 meters one way, and we will walk back and forth. On our walk through the park there are nearly 100 stairs to negotiate in total.
At our final stop Aker Brygge, you have the opportunity to choose among many different lunch and dinner restaurants if you are ready for a meal after the tour.

Frida was prompt and proved to be exactly what you would desire in a tour guide. She was very informative, talking time to explain all about the Norwegian royal family when we asked. When some of our party wanted to get a bite to eat, while others wanted to visit the central column in Vigeland Park, she gave perfect instructions to make this all happen. She was relentlessly cheerful and obviously very proud of her country and its capital. She receives our highest recommendation!
