This 4 hour trip will cover Oslo highlights with a private car or minibus.
We will first take you through the central part of town, where you will see the major buildings in Oslo, from medieval times to the very modern developments by the fjord.
The drive continues to the Vigeland Sculpture park to view the over 250 sculpture groups set in a lovely park. We will then visit the famous ski jump of Holmenkollen on the hills above Oslo, which offers a spectacular view of the city and the fjord on a clear day.
We will then take you to the Viking Ship Museum at Bygdøy pensinsula, housing 3 Viking ships from around 800, found in burial mounds by the Oslo fjord around 1900. Two of them are extremely well preserved, and are beautiful and impressive. The musum also shows a lot of articles found in and around the ships. I will guide you at the museum.
We will return to the center of Oslo driving along the Oslo fjord.
The will show you the beauty and attractions of my home city!
This trip will give you a good impression of Oslo, its major sights, its immediate surroundings. Should you prefer to visit one of the other museums in Oslo instead of the Viking Ship Museum, we will try to arrange for that.

We had a wonderful four hour tour of Oslo by car with Kirsti. She took us to the Ski Museum, the Sculpture Park, and Museum Island, which was the perfect itinerary for our family. Kirsti is incredibly knowledgeable and very personable, and we learned a lot about Oslo and the various sights while enjoying ourselves thoroughly. Our only regret is that we did not book a longer tour, as we could have happily spent several more hours with Kirsti.
