the mysterious, sacred Buddhist centre with a private guide
The tour covers the attractions of Koyasan, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2004. Let's visit the deeper mountainous sacred place and feel the tranquil atmosphere of 1200 years of history.
It takes about 90 minutes from Osaka(Nankai Namba station) to Koyasan with railway and cablecar to get there. The area is a mountainous plateau at an altitude of 900 meters, so the temperature is basically about 8 degrees Celsius colder than Osaka city. Please take or wear your jacket just in case.
Please prepare JPY in cash and remove your shoes off at the entrance of Japanese buildings.

We were a group of six who had a wonderful day experiencing the traditions and history of Koyasan. Hiroko always communicated promptly and friendly leading up to our day tour. She met us at our hotel and returned us safely in the evening. All transport was handled very smoothly, something we wouldn't have been able to do without Hiroko's guidance. Hiroko is very knowledgeable in all aspects of the history and religious traditions of the Buddhist monks. We very much enjoyed our lunch together. Thank you.
