Ideal city tour for those staying at hotels
If you plan your first visit to St Petersburg and don't know what to start with - this tour is perfect you. You will not only get a general overview of the city but also visit the main highlights of St Petersburg. One of them is the Hermitage museum - where you will see both the sumptuous rooms of the former Winter Palace of the Russian tsars and a fantastic collection of European art.
We will also visit one of the most famous cathedrals - St Isaac Cathedral - the former main cathedral of the Russia adorned with gold and semi-precious stones or a fabulous ornate Church on Spilled Blood (Church of the Savior on Blood).
We will also take a 1-hour river and canal tour and you will see why St Petersburg is nicknamed the Venice of the North. (in the winter time we will do a car tour instead)
The whole tour takes 8-9 hours.
All admission fees and boat trip tickets are included in the cost.
The Hermitage tickets will be pre-booked.
