Old biblical town of Jaffa neighboring the modern Zionist city of Tel Aviv
Tour old Jaffa, the 5000 years biblical city, and Tel Aviv the Zionist major city built 120 years ago. We star our tour at the old port where the prophet Jona embarked the ship to ecape God's mission, where the material and craftsmen docked their ships on the way to build Solomon's temple and many historic events throughout the history of this land. We will visit in Jaffa St. Peter Church and learn about his visit to Simon the Tanner. In Jaffa's old alleys mainly built at the Ottoman's time and restored lately we will visit the art galleries, then take picture with modern Tel Aviv in the background.
We will then walk or drive to the old neighborhood of Neve Zedek and the famous Rothschild street. The places that Tel Aviv evolved from. We'll learn the modern history of the Zionist movement , the return of Christianity to the holy land and the Independence of Israel. We will then see white city which was declared by UNESCO as world heritage for it's largest collection of Bauhaus architecture houses.
