Relaxing time in the island of modern art
Naoshima island is a small but attractive destination in the Western Japan.
The island is also introduced in the 007 series novel titled "THE MAN WITH THE RED TATTOO" written by Raymond Benson in 2003.
The tour covers major attractions of the island in a day.
Tour price costs per group, not per person.
"Estimated Local Cash Needed" costs per person, not per group.
I can meet you at your hotel lobby (except for Airbnb and guesthouses) in Okayama city.
Museums in Naoshima island are closed on Mondays.
When you stay in Osaka, please confirm the tour #158074.
If you're JR pass travelers, I hope you'll stay in Okayama and start the tour from Okayama because the JR pass traveler's Shinkansen ride is too limited. Our destination is an island, the transportation is not well-organized. I highly recommend you to start from Oakayama to enjoy the island of modern art as much as possible.
