I am also a British Sign Language (BSL) interpreter, a Qualified teacher in Art and History and just so not to get bored an International Beer Judge and Cicerone Certified Beer Server. To improve my tours I have now qualified as an Associate Member of the Academy Of Cheese.
I have grown up surrounded by the historic beauty of Norwich and Norfolk, developing a passion for its local produce along the way. So there is always an option to feed the eyes and more on my tours especially in a city that has 365 public houses, but don't worry there are also 52 churches.
I love to show people around Norwich through all the secret back alleys and the hidden stories that I explored as a child. I have a fondness for the Norman Castle where I worked for over 8 years conducting tours in BSL and helping visitors investigate their family history.
With my love of history and art I am spoilt for choice, my beautiful county is the home of Nelson, its northern cliffs are nationally recognised for its geology, the salt marshes for their seasonal visitors and a highly regarded University of Arts. There is nothing I like more than to explore all of these what ever the weather.
I enjoy meeting new people and I am very flexible (always with a plan B). Additionally I am able to adjust everything to suit travellers with disabilities making access a key to everyone's enjoyment of my historic city and the soft rolling hills of Norfolk
A Recent Review of this guide
Our students thoroughly enjoyed their tour. It was very short notice and our guide was hugely accommodating and excellent value for money. We will definitely be booking for our next group.

I am not a National Trust Guide so would not be able to guide you in any of these places (except BSL interpretation)
